With a blend of business acumen and design aesthetic, Ruth understands the world of design and its intersection with business realities. She inspires her teams to explore every creative possibility while maintaining a strategic perspective; developing design-forward brands and meeting business objectives.
As creative director of ezCater, Ruth evolved the brand identity and transformed a fledgling in-house team into a high-performing marketing function.
Previously, Ruth led the creative direction of King Arthur Baking Company for 14 years as the company grew from a beloved regional flour brand to a national baking company. She oversaw creative strategy and execution for all areas of the brand, and served as the creative director for Sift magazine. Prior to joining King Arthur Baking, Ruth worked as a graphic designer, both in-house and on the agency side. She has her MA in graphic design from Savannah College of Art and Design, and a BS in advertising from Boston University’s College of Communication.
Ruth lives in Vermont with her husband, two boys, and rescue dog Greta. Most weekends you’ll find her hiking, skiing, or renovating her house “with potential”.
